This was a very shy leopard, took us a long time to get a shot where he wasn't hidden in the grass
Leopard in Yellow Acacia
Leopard trying to get down from his tree, all cats are the same!
This was the first part of the Leopard kill we saw, she was just sitting there...
..she got bored after 15 mins, then...
she suddenly started sniffing and looking around...
she walks up to a bush and starts sniffing, looking for the prey she sensed before...
..and finally she pounces, there's a scream from the Dik Dik and it's all over
The Leopard then took the kill to her tree, got her cub from where she had hidden him and shares the meal with him
Obviously she hadn't taught the cub yet to use a napkin properly...
After meal time, mother and cub play in their tree
Lions enjoying the residual heat of the day as the cool evening sets in
Hippos kill more people than all the main predators combined!
The Wildebeest migration, one of the most amazing spectacles I've seen. This was a heard of around 200,000, all those dots in the distance as far as you can see are Wildebeest.
Landing in Kilimanjaro airport, most of our internal flights seated 6-10 people and had a scary view of the cockpit
This used to be a forest before a bunch of elephants tore down the trees. Apparently male elephants show off their strength during mating season by pushing down big trees in front of the females.
